Based on my experience as an office flunky, I'm surprised too.

I would have been even more surprised if my main criterion had been
listed: sane main-block-only keyboard command set. Mr. Winer probably
doesn't know such a thing can exist. DOES exist.

So I chose to interpret "software" as "main work tool."
