Keep in mind that some of the monopolistic practices
are actually cultivated and controlled by the National Science
Foundation (NSF). This is especially tru in the area of
resource allocation for the Internet.

The Senators appear to be clueless about how the NSF
spends its $3.5 billion dollar annual budget. With that much
money the NSF can influence the markets and make and
break companies. As we have seen with the Internet, companies
gather around the NSF money that flows in the Virginia suburbs.
Via this biased flow they build their monopolistic empires.
