dioxin and tampons

hello. currently i am involved with the national dioxin and tampon
campaign. this summer carolyn maloney (d-ny-14) proposed congressional bill
H.R. 3796. the bill requires the national institute of health to determine
health risks to women from dioxin in tampons.
no hearings are scheduled at this time but the bill will be reintroduced next
session. no legislation regarding dioxin in tampons has ever been proposed so
i am would like to align with others who are also working on this issue.
