          Endocrine Disruptors Research Initiative
          http://www.epa.gov/endocrine/

The Endocrine Disruptor Working Group of the National Science and
Technology Council's (NSTC) Committee on the Environment and
Natural Resources (CENR) has developed a home page to provide
coordination across the federal government related to examining the
hypothesis that there are chemicals present in the environment of
humans and wildlife that, by virtue of their ability to interact
with the endocrine system, are causing a variety of adverse health
effects. The site offers cornerstones of this effort through a
common framework by which to organize research activities related
to endocrine disruption and the compilation of a searchable,
up-to-date inventory of research sponsored by the federal
          government.
