If you are getting this mail and didn't ask to be on this list

Hello -

If you are getting this mail and didn't ask to be on this list, it's likely
you've been "spammed". We don't know who's sending this list to people in this
way, but we can say how you can unsubscribe (see below). If that doesn't work,
look at the trace of the message you get to see if you can tell where it's
coming from (sometimes you can tell) and ask that source to remove you from the
list. In any case, it's not the people of this list who did this and we ask
that you please be courteous to us in your communications about this.

Thank you -

P. Dines

I apologize for the recent deluge of messages from subscribers who did
not intend to be subscribed. I think that we have a handle on the
situation now, although I am not sure how those people were ever
subscribed. If there are any people receiving this message who do not
wish to be subscribed to dioxin-l, send the following message in the body
to the address listproc@essential.org

unsubscribe dioxin-l

If you are unsuccessful, send me a message at slester@essential.org, and
I will remove you. I apologize for the inconvenience.
