I'm glad to know that the authoritarian regimes of east Asia are building
more pvc factories in places that have no democratic input into government
and corporate policies. The newly industrializing areas of east Asia
include some of the most polluted places anywhere.

I'd love to see the Chlorine Castration Council -- die-oxins from PVC affect
the male reproductive system -- discuss the quantities of LEAD that are used
to stabilize the PVC that they promote. But there are even P.R. companies
that try to exxon-erate
lead's impact on the nervous system ...

Anything that needs a P.R. budget to sell it is probably not worthwhile anyway.
