Accuracy in Media is one of the most misnamed groups in the lobbying
universe. They're heavily funded by major polluters and ultraconservative
foundations. They make Pat Buchanan look liberal.

Considering that most of Irvine's experience has been defending the nuclear
arms race, the Nicaraguan contra drug-smuggling terrorists, and various
other acts of violence, I seriously doubt that he knows anything about the
long term, multigenerational impact of dioxins and furans upon DNA --
although I'm sure he's happy to take paper industry money or other chemical
contributions to ghost write something. And I doubt that he lives next to
one of the factories that he claims is harmless.
