Sure must vary by brand etc., some old measurements, Marketplace, a CBC
TV show found in 1987 from 0.39 ppt total PCDD/F in coffee filters to
19.57 in paper towels.
Beck et al PCCD/F in Diff Papers Chemosphere 1988 17(1):57-1 for what
is termed "cosmetic tissue" measured 1.1ppt of 2378-TCDD, 13 of 2378-TCDF.
They have some other congener data but no TEQ. (If I had to give a
guestimate on this I would say 2.0 to 3.0 pptTEQ)
They and others posit that "cosmetic tissue" tends to be high among papers
and the highest furan levels of all papers seem to be there.
