RE: dioxin exposure through food
I was glad to get the information about dioxin exposure through various
food routes.
i am aware that everything that I consume, including organically produced
foods, contain dioxin, as did my mother's milk while I breastfd my
children.
Ms. Christensen has commented that we should leave food out of the dioxin
discussions. Well, this is the kind of information that I signed up to
get hold of. I certainly can't expect food producers and marketers to
get it for me!
Once I have the information, I can take steps to reduce the amount of
dioxin that my family and I ingest, and it may help. Certainly, it can't
hurt!
I would like to see a MORE concise list of dioxin and PCB content in
various foods, meats, fish, legumes and other vegetables, organic and
non-organic on the dioxin-l pages. And, I'd like to pass this around to
other mothers in my circle.
