Compost Contaminant?

Hi -

Am I correct in remembering that this chemical was mentioned on this mailing
list?  Is there anyone who can provide him with more information?  Would be
appreciated.

Is anyone aware of a material known as: bis (2-ethyl hexyl) phthalate ?

Is this a substance that can and/or will contaminate finished compost
product?

Can it be minimized?  Eliminated?

Any thoughts would be very appreciated.
