kinko's copy shops & tcf paper
i understand from our local branch that kinko's is now doing national, or
at least local paper procuring. peril & opportunity.
peril: here, their main stock james river's eureka(tm), a pcf with very
high post consumer (tho that also means more chlorine, but...) content.
oxygen bleached virgin fraction. for the sake of purchasing power, i
imagine, theyir current procurement is for a chlorine bleached, 20% post
consumer stock.
this leads to the opportunity: franchise wide procurement could put a
lot--i mean a _LOT_--of demand in for a tcf stock. therefore this post.
what is the situation at other kinko's? should activists organize a
campaign with/for kinko's to do the right thing? i also hear from our
local branch that they are looking for a tcf stock right now, but only as a
spcialty (have to ask for) paper.
