On June 4, 1996 at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., Mothers 
Organized to Stop Environmental Sins (MOSES) of Winona, Texas, will hold a 
press conference from 1:30-3:00.  They will discuss their plight against 
American Ecology Corporation, who operates a two commercial deep 
injection wells, a solvent recovery service, and a haz waste fuel 
blending operation in Winona.  Over 50 companies who ship waste to the 
facilities have been named in a lawsuit representing workers and 
residents in this community.  Many residents in the community suffer from 
different forms of cancer, brain damage, liver and kidney diseases, 
immune deficiency, and reproductive disorders associated with endocrine 
disruption.  Come to the National Press Club on June 4th to learn about 
MOSES and show your support.
