is for sale at every hardware and garden store that I'm aware of in the US

Perhaps Mr. Chlorophilia doesn't know it, but many cement kilns burn toxic
chlorinated wastes here in the US, including chlorinated solvents and
other byproducts of his industry. Hillary Clinton served a term as a
director of Lafarge Cement, which is the biggest one of these cement
incinerators.

would that have been true a 100 years ago?
toxic pollutants are so mixed up in the rain and air that there is no
longer any "control" group, whether organic homegrown veggies or
depositions of anthropogenic pollutants into forests.

no, public health
public health demands that we take action before 100% proof is known,
since anything else is immoral and forces exposure to toxins
