On April 13, 1996, the Physicians for Social Responsibility will be
sponsoring a conference - "DIOXIN AND HEALTH: TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES"- IN
Salem, Oregon. Other sponsors include Salem Hospital and Friends of the
Library. The conference will feature several dioxin experts, concerned
citizens, and officials, and cover topics including dioxin toxicity, dioxin health effects in humans, dioxin
sources, and preventative measures to stop dioxin exposure. For more
