Alternatives to PVC - Medical uses

I am looking into doing a case study of a hospital to find out exactly 
where they are using products containing PVC, with the objective of finding 
products made out of alternative materials that do not result in dioxin 
releases to the environment through their manufacture or disposal.  

Does anyone know of another such study, or have information or a contact 
for finding such alternative products?
