Try looking into the index of ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, a journal
by the American Chemical Society.  I had done a literature study on using
landfill gas for diesel fuel but decided against it due to the nitrogen oxide
emissions problem.  The chlorinated gases were certainly present in the
landfill gas.  Several articles in this publication have noted the content
and incinerability of landfill gas.

Also look up ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRESS, V5 No1, pp18-27, LaRegina et al; "VOCs
at Haz. Waste Sites and a Sanitary Landfill in NJ"
