Re: heard of "chlorofiber" ?

i just got a used hat; it's ugly but i bought this particular one because
its label says "42% chlorofiber".  has any one heard of this? pvc or pvdc
spun fiber, perhaps?

seems yet another example of the chlorine industry's endless market
penetration, using their low cost ingredient sea salt (NaCl) to gain market
shares where chlorine was never previously to be found.  this kind of stuff
is really making our job (ban/phaseout of persistant o-cl's) tough.
