Hi,
Regarding your question concerning Thermolysis technology, I got information
that it was developed by a French company belonging to the Compagnie
Generale de Chauffe (CGC) group. This technology is nothing new than classic
pyrolisis process, which as yet has not been proved to reprocess municipal
solid waste - none commercial facility exists, and these which were
operating in the past were closed down because of technology and process
failures (i.e. in Baltimore, US).
Here in Poland we fought with a couple incineration projects put by the CGC.
We were able to stop all of them. One argument against the CGC offers was
that the quantity of heavy metals in sewage sludges from the incinerators
didn't meet Polish standards.
