This question is interesting and I wonder if anyone could answer a
few more to help my understanding?
I wonder how fentograms per cubic meter in the air co-relates to
uptake. Is the method primarily air deposition onto vegetation
and then consumption by animals and concentration in fats? Or is
there more transport from the air to the soil to the water and
then up through the food chain?
Is there a "background" level in soils from historical deposition?
Thanks,
