The Teamsters in St. Louis are having a difficult time receiving reliable
information from local experts on the dangers of dioxin expsoure.
Professionals at both St. Louis University and Washington University here
appear to have a vested interest in denying that there is any problem
whatsoever. 
     Local 600 is in need of experts who would be willing to provide
objective information. Members of the union who now work at the Nationsway
truck terminal are faced with further dioxin exposure because the EPA plans
to excavate a contaminated site next to the facility as a part of the Times
Beach cleanup in Eastern Missouri.
