VETERANS AND AGENT ORANGE
I have been dying to know what others are thinking about the Institute of
Medicine's "VETERANS and AGENT ORANGE" Health Effects of Herbicides Used in
Vietnam 1994 (ISBN 0-039-04887-7).
It is 812 pages of "not enough evidence" or "to many confounders".
They know that cigarettes produce dioxin, that is why they classify them as
a "confounder", but do you hear the government mentioning to the public that
cigarettes produce dioxin. No, you have to read the Japanese medical
journals to catch up on the subject.
You would think someone would tell the I.O.M. about all of the research that
has already been done, or least point them to the RACHEL files, or
dioxin-L@essential.org
This is my first posting, I hope that I haven't been a bore.
Sincerely,
Bill Patterson / bphata@primenet.com
