Grassroots Organizations & The Chlorine Debate

The reason behind my recent request for information on the National Toxics
Campaign is that I am researching grassroots organizations and their anticipated
influence on the chlorine/dioxin debate.

I am a member of CCHW and am somewhat familiar with their campaign, but I am
also interested in contacting individual grassroot organizations or smaller
coallitions to get a better understanding as to how they may be approaching
the chlorine problem.

My focus is on exploring grassroots organizations and the issues surrounding
the jump from traditional siting opposition to effecting natioinal policy
through advocacy, political pressure and consumer action. In adition, I am
looking at the relationship between the grassroots and the Big 10 (EDF, Sierra
Club etc.) and the emerging role of grassroots given the decentralization wave
passing through Washington DC as a result of the 1994 elections.

Any pointers and/or suggestions and/or candidates that spring to mind?

thanks
