Tha Australian government is very excited by research being done into
ultrasonic disposal.
Basically, any chemicals are "zapped" in an ultrasonic bath containing
reagents such as caustic soda.
About 40 mins is sufficient to cleave all dioxin molecules, depending of
course on sound amplitude.
Don't know how relevant this is to "tons of mud", but should be applicable.
